Job summary

Sugarloaf Mountain Corporation in Maine is seeking outgoing and dependable Food Servers for the winter season. This tip-driven role focuses on delivering friendly service and handling all food service tasks in a resort environment.

Join our team across all resort locations. The position starts at an hourly rate of $7.55 and includes perks such as a free lift pass; discounts at F&B and retail; and access to Nordic trails. Hospitality experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• ServSafe certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire.
• Availability to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests.

Overview

Sugarloaf is looking for outgoing and dependable team players to join our Food and Beverage team as Food Servers this coming winter season. The focus of this position is to complete all food service-related tasks consistently, carefully, and systematically in a service-friendly environment.

We are currently seeking servers for our all of our resort locations. This tip driven role starts at an hourly rate of $7.55 and comes with great job perks and a supportive team that will help you build and grow your guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests
• Inform guests of specials and menu changes
• Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services
• Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in our point-of-sale system which relays orders to the kitchen and bar
• Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in a timely manner
• Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment
• Monitor and observe guest dining experiences. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests
• Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges or make change (if applicable)
• Assist fellow servers as situations arise or as needed
• Assist bus person with clearing and resetting tables as needed
