Job summary

Sugarloaf Mountain Corporation is seeking a Lead Breakfast Server for our winter season at 45 North. The role focuses on guiding the AM team to deliver consistent, friendly service while managing morning shifts and tasks efficiently.

The position is tip-eligible with an hourly wage of $11. This role offers the opportunity to lead service activities and ensure guest satisfaction in a lively resort environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• Must possess ServSafe certification or obtainable upon hire.
• Must be available to work mornings.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests.
• Inform guests of specials and menu changes.
• Answer questions about food, beverages, and restaurant functions.
• Take orders and enter into POS system; relay to kitchen/bar.
• Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely manner.
• Lead fellow servers as situations arise.
• Assist with clearing and resetting tables.

Overview

Sugarloaf is looking for an outgoing and dependable individual to join our team at 45 North as our Lead Breakfast Server for the coming winter season. The focus of this position is to work side by side with our AM team to lead and complete all food service-related tasks consistently, carefully, and systematically in a service friendly environment. This tip eligible morning shift lead role comes with great job perks and an hourly rate of $11/hour. If you enjoy providing excellent customer service in a fun atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests
• Inform guests of specials and menu changes
• Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services
• Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in our point-of-sale system which relays orders to the kitchen and bar
• Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in a timely manner
• Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment
• Monitor and observe guest dining experiences. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests
• Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges or make change (if applicable)
• Lead fellow servers as situations arise or as needed
• Assist bus person with clearing and resetting tables as needed
