Job summary

Sugarloaf Resort is seeking a creative and motivated Prep Cook for the winter season. The role focuses on delivering high-quality meals at resort F&B locations and for events, with an anticipated start at $20-24/hour depending on experience.

You will join a team dedicated to exceptional food and service in a beautiful, alpine setting. Responsibilities include preparing food, maintaining quality and presentation, stocking line stations, coordinating with the kitchen team, and completing closing

Qualifications

• Prior kitchen experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to guidelines, recipes, and procedures.
• Ensure quality taste and presentation of dishes.
• Stock and maintain adequate food levels at line stations; communicate orders to the Executive Chef.
• Coordinate production with cooks, wait staff, and other F&B team members.
• Perform closing procedures including equipment maintenance, sanitation, and organization of kitchen areas.
• Assist team with additional tasks as assigned.
• Familiarize yourself with all kitchen equipment.

This position play s a key role in delivering high-quality meals at our resort F\&B locations and for various events and gatherings. This winter season role is anticipated to start at $20-24/hr depending upon experience and comes with great job perks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to food handling guidelines, cooking procedures, and follow any recipes.
• Prepare food ensuring quality taste and presentation.
• Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations and be able to communicate food and product orders to Executive Chef.
• Communicate and coordinate production with other cooks, wait staff and members of the food and beverage team.
• Perform closing procedures including equipment maintenance and shut off, cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.
• Work with the team to complete other tasks as assigned.
• Possess knowledge and become familiar with all kitchen equipment.

Qualifications

Candidates must be willing to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed. Must be at least 18 years old. Prior kitchen experience is preferred.
