Job summary

Sugarloaf Resort is seeking creative and motivated Prep Cooks to join our team this winter season. This role helps deliver high-quality meals at our resort F&B locations and for events, with starting pay of $20-24/hr depending on experience. Candidates should be able to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed, with opportunities to enjoy resort perks and teamwork in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Weekend, holiday, and weekday availability as needed.
• Prior kitchen experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to recipes and guidelines.
• Ensure quality taste and presentation of dishes.
• Stock and communicate orders to Executive Chef and team.
• Coordinate production with cooks, wait staff and F&B team.
• Perform closing procedures: cleaning, sanitation, and storage organization.
• Assist team with other kitchen tasks as assigned.
• Familiarize yourself with all kitchen equipment.

Overview

Sugarloaf Resort is looking for creative and motivated Prep Cooks to join our team this coming winter season. This position play s a key role in delivering high-quality meals at our resort F\&B locations and for various events and gatherings. This winter season role is anticipated to start at $20-24/hr depending upon experience and comes with great job perks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to food handling guidelines, cooking procedures, and follow any recipes.
• Prepare food ensuring quality taste and presentation.
• Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations and be able to communicate food and product orders to Executive Chef.
• Communicate and coordinate production with other cooks, wait staff and members of the food and beverage team.
• Perform closing procedures including equipment maintenance and shut off, cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.
• Work with the team to complete other tasks as assigned.
• Possess knowledge and become familiar with all kitchen equipment.

Qualifications
