Job summary

Sugarloaf Mountain Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated team member for the Building Maintenance Team at Sugarloaf Resort in Maine. This full-time, year-round role handles basic maintenance across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general trades, with opportunities to learn and grow.

Starting wage is $25–$27 per hour, and benefits and access to seasonal amenities are included.

Qualifications

• Operate basic hand and power tools.
• Work independently and safely.
• Understand and follow oral and written directions.
• Have reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
• Capable of physical exertion.

Responsibilities

• Perform varied maintenance tasks across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
• Troubleshoot and resolve TV and internet issues.

Overview

Sugarloaf is currently looking for a detail orientated, self-motivated, and enthusiastic team player to joinour resort's Building Maintenance Team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing basic maintenance on plumbing, electrical, appliances, furniture, and general building maintenance trades.

This is a full-time, year-round position that is eligible for benefits, access to seasonal amenities, and many other great job perks. Anticipated starting wage for this role is $25-27 per hour. If you have experience in these fields or are a fast learner that is willing to be trained, come join our team!

Responsibilities

• Perform varied maintenance tasks such as:
  • plumbing,
  • electrical,
  • carpentry,
  • painting,
  • troubleshooting and resolving issues with TV and internet.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this job will:

• have the ability to operate basic hand and power tools
• be able to work independently and safely
• be able to understand and follow both oral and written directions
• have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license
• be able to exert a considerable amount of physical effort to complete some tasks
