Sugarloaf Base Services is seeking a full-time, year-round maintenance technician to join our team at Sugarloaf. The role focuses on general carpentry, painting, cleaning, and facility upkeep across the Base Lodge and food/beverage areas, with occasional custodial duties.

Starting wage is $18–$20/hour depending on experience, with meal benefits and additional perks. Ideal candidates are timely, detail-oriented, eager to learn, and maintain a positive attitude.

• Willingness to work days, nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 40+ lbs and transport materials.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine building maintenance and repair tasks across the Base Lodge and surrounding areas.
• Complete monthly facility inspections and checks on schedule.
• Prioritize daily tasks and manage time across several projects.
• Assist with custodial duties including cleaning as needed.
• Set up and breakdown conference spaces for events.
• Maintain indoor/outdoor areas, assist with winter operations and snow/ice tasks.
• Ensure guest and staff safety and comfort in the base lodge.
• Complete other duties as directed by management.

Sugarloaf Base Services is currently looking for a full-time, year-round maintenance technician to join our team. For this role, we are looking for a reliable team player with a knowledge of general carpentry, painting, and proper cleaning methods. Base Services Techs maintain our Base Lodge facility and the surrounding Food and Beverage outlet areas at our resort. While this role will be maintenance focused, it may require custodial tasks at times.

The ideal candidate for this position would be timely, detail oriented, willing to learn, and have a positive attitude. This position is eligible for shift meals and many other great benefits.

We have one full-time, year-round position and full-time seasonal spot available at this time and will provide on-the-job training. Starting wage is anticipated to be $18-20/hour depending upon experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance and repair tasks throughout the Base Lodge, such as; basic carpentry, painting, staining, replacing light bulbs, and minor drywall repair as needed.
• Complete scheduled monthly inspections and facility checks in a timely manner.
• Organize and prioritize daily tasks, managing time across multiple projects.
• Assist with routine custodial duties, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, windows and bathroom cleaning, dusting, and trash removal.
• Setup and breakdown of conference spaces for concerts, meetings, and other special events.
• Maintain indoor and outdoor areas, including seasonal preparations for winter operations, maintaining entrances and outdoor areas, assisting with snow and ice removal, sanding and salting as assigned.
• Help ensure the safety and comfort of guests, and employees in the base lodge.
• Complete other duties, maintenance projects, and assignments as directed by the manager or supervisor.
