American Sugar Refining, Inc. seeks a Process Team Manager to lead sugar refining operations on a designated shift in Chalmette, Louisiana.

You will supervise hourly personnel, ensure GMP and safe practices, and drive production quality and efficiency in a union setting. Qualifications include 3-5 years of industrial supervision, basic mechanical/electrical/instrumentation knowledge, and strong communication skills.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor degree strongly preferred.
• 3-5 years industrial supervision experience required.
• Experience managing a liquid process system with knowledge of fluid systems, chemistry and mathematics.

Responsabilidades

• Directs sugar refining operations on designated shift.
• Directs teams of specialized employees ensuring GMP and safe operating procedures.
• Achieves standard production volume, quality standards, and regulatory compliance under union and hourly personnel supervision.
• Controls energy, water, air, and electric power to reduce costs and meet objectives.
• Develops supervisory and operating personnel with optimal labor use per shift.
• Manages employee relations within contract guidelines.
• Participates in continuous improvement processes.
• Coordinates non-routine maintenance activities.
