Join Blew & Associates, P.A. as a Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Technician and become a vital part of our field operations team! As a SUE Technician, you'll work on projects involving detecting and mapping underground utilities, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

With hands-on training and access to cutting-edge SUE technology, you'll become proficient in operating equipment like ground penetrating radar (GPR) and utility location tools. Your role is essential in minimizing risks and ensuring smooth construction operations for our clients.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Conducting field investigations using state-of-the-art SUE equipment
• Mapping and documenting underground utilities to support construction projects
• Collaborating with other professionals to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Participating in ongoing training to enhance your skills in SUE practices
• Maintaining a positive attitude and adapting to various work environments

Requirements:

• Experience with Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR)
• Experience with Electromagnetic Locators
• Experience with RTK GPS
• Knowledge of utility infrastructure
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical education is a plus
• Construction, electrical, plumbing, or hydro-vac experience is beneficial but not required
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
• Physical ability to perform fieldwork in various weather conditions
