SAM, a nationwide geospatial and construction-phase solutions provider, seeks a SUE Project Manager in Indiana to lead subsurface utility engineering projects from initiation through completion. You will coordinate field and office teams, manage budgets, and maintain client relationships to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience leading SUE projects in a professional or management capacity.
• Knowledge of SUE practices and ASCE 38-22 preferred.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and client relationships.
• Proficiency with CAD, GIS, and utility data management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead SUE projects from kickoff to completion, ensuring adherence to quality, budget, and schedule.
• Prepare and manage project proposals, contracts, budgets, schedules, and billings.
• Sign and seal plats, field notes, and control drawings as required.
• Plan staffing needs, allocate resources, and oversee multiple concurrent projects.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships; pursue new business opportunities.
• Deliver project updates, technical reports, and presentations to clients and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with sub-consultants, partners, and internal teams for seamless execution.
• Monitor and report financial performance, including AR, WIP, and billing cycles.
• Represent SAM at client meetings, industry events, and trade shows.
• Support other operational teams and contribute to company-wide goals.
