Job summary

WSB and Associates is seeking a Project Manager for Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE). You will lead complex utility investigations from initiation to closeout, coordinating field and office teams to deliver accurate maps, design support, and risk mitigation.

The role requires strong project management, client communication, and ability to manage budgets and schedules while ensuring safety and quality on diverse civil and environmental projects. Occasional travel and field work are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
• 6+ years of progressively responsible experience in Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) or related utility engineering fields.
• Experience managing project scope, schedule, budget, financial performance, quality, and client expectations in the AEC industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead SUE projects from initiation through closeout, including scope, scheduling, budgeting, staffing, execution, and invoicing.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients and stakeholders; communicate status, risks, and solutions.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, and resource plans for utility records research, field designation, verification, surveying, and mapping.
