Bolton & Menk, Inc. seeks a SUE Field Technician II to join our Emerging Markets & Services team. This role focuses on locating, documenting, and verifying underground utilities to support planning, design, and construction of infrastructure projects across the United States.

You will work primarily in the field with engineers, surveyors, and other professionals to deliver high-quality utility data that reduces risk and informs decisions. Travel will be frequent.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in utility locating, SUE, surveying, or related field services.
• Experience operating geophysical locating equipment preferred.
• Basic understanding of ASCE 38 standards and utility quality levels.
• Knowledge of water, sewer, electric, gas, and telecom utilities.

Aufgaben

• Designate and document underground utilities using geophysical locating equipment and ASCE 38-22 Quality Levels.
• Assist with utility surveying, mapping, and data collection for project deliverables.
• Operate vacuum excavation equipment to expose and verify utility locations.
• Operate and maintain field equipment including vacuum trucks and locating devices.
• Assist in implementing traffic control plans and maintain safety on site.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and field notes.
