Job summary

Stellantis seeks a Subsystem Technical Lead for Steering and Brakes to guide Design Release Engineers and cross‑functional teams from sourcing through industrialization, interfacing with the Chief Vehicle Engineer, Program Managers, and SSTMs to ensure timely delivery with quality.

You will drive program milestones, present progress to senior leadership, and oversee design, analysis, validation, and change management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in automotive component development.
• Proven leadership in cross-functional teams and targets.
• DFMEA, DVP&R and product development process knowledge.
• Ability to travel to supplier sites and Stellantis plants.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and validation of hardware and software components.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet program and production timelines.
• Present progress updates to management and senior leadership.
• Guide Design Release Engineers through the industrialization process.
• Support pre-production and production builds on-site as needed.
• Drive engineering changes and approve deviations.
