Job summary

Stellantis NV in Auburn, Alabama seeks an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead cross-functional programs across vehicle lines, serving as the primary liaison between design, engineering, manufacturing and program management.

You will drive development from concept through launch, manage system integration and change requests, and support plant launch activities with a focus on cost, quality, and schedule alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years automotive engineering, product development, or program management.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex programs from concept through launch.
• Strong understanding of vehicle systems, manufacturing processes, and development cycles.
• Experience with issue resolution, change management, and supplier coordination.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical program execution from development through end-of-life, ensuring alignment across all teams.
• Ensure systems meet functional and performance requirements while achieving cost, weight, timing, and quality targets.
• Lead resolution of engineering and quality issues; provide hands-on support for bulletin responses and related activities.
• Act as a visible member of the launch team, supporting plant development and onsite activities.
• Define and maintain the vehicle development plan to ensure feature availability and behavior consistency.
• Release specifications to suppliers and manage changes via Design Change Requests (DCRs).
• Lead warranty performance initiatives post-launch and manage warranty tables for assigned commodities.
• Champion cost-saving initiatives through teardown events, supplier VO meetings, and DFSS/APQP/FMEA practices.
