Job summary

Stellantis in Auburn Hills, MI seeks a senior Chassis Vehicle Systems Release engineer to lead technical execution of chassis systems across vehicle programs. You will be the primary technical contact, ensuring performance, quality, cost and timing while coordinating cross-functional engineering teams.

Responsibilities include leading development and delivery, managing risks, reporting KPIs, and supporting launches.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum of 10 years of professional engineering experience.
Proficient in DFMEA, DVP&R, PDP, and change process tools and processes.
Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Lead technical development and delivery of chassis systems for assigned vehicle programs.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve program milestones and vehicle targets.
Manage technical risks, issue resolution, and escalation processes.
Monitor and report program KPIs, status, and readiness.
Drive technical trade-off decisions balancing performance, quality, cost, and timing.
Support vehicle launch activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
Serve as a key interface with Program CVEs, Technical Managers, Platform Program Leaders, suppliers, and engineering.
