Penhall Company is seeking a Subsurface Specialist to perform subsurface investigations using GPR and EM pipe location while actively expanding client relationships and revenue. The role combines field work with business development and requires strong communication to educate clients and build partnerships.

The position involves 90% travel across Florida and beyond, with evenings/weekends as needed. A technical foundation in utility locating, customer focus, and sales aptitude are essential for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical certification in GPR or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in GPR or construction scanning preferred.
• Prior sales or customer-facing experience in construction or industrial services is a strong plus.
• Proven field experience with underground utility location and mapping investigations.

Responsibilities

• Perform subsurface investigations using GPR and EM pipe location techniques.
• Generate on-site solutions, mark-outs, and reports per quality standards.
• Develop client relationships before, during, and after field services.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through site visits and networking.
• Collaborate with sales and operations to leverage client relationships for cross-selling.
