Penhall Company is seeking a Subsurface Specialist to perform advanced subsurface investigations while driving business development to expand client relationships and revenue. The role requires 90% travel across Texas and beyond, with evenings, overnights, and weekends as needed.

The ideal candidate combines robust GPR/mapping experience with a customer-first mindset and strong communication skills to educate clients and secure long-term partnerships.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification in GPR or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in GPR or construction scanning preferred.
• Prior sales or customer-facing experience in construction or industrial services is a strong plus.
• Proven field experience with executing underground utility location and mapping investigations.
• Strong interpersonal skills and sales experience.
• Self-starter with the ability to manage time independently.
• Ability to identify client needs and recommend appropriate services.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Competent in report writing and technical documentation.
• Basic sales aptitude and comfort with customer follow-up.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM experience a plus.
• Ability to work in varying environments and travel locally to job sites

Responsabilidades

• Perform subsurface investigations using technologies like GPR and EM location.
• Deliver on-site solutions, mark-outs, and reports per safety standards.
• Engage clients during all phases of field services to capture data and surface features.
• Pursue new business opportunities through office/site visits and networking events.
• Collaborate with regional teams to leverage client relationships for cross-selling.
• Prepare custom quotes, proposals, and pricing negotiations.
• Engage with clients as a subject matter expert and solution provider.
• Coordinate sales efforts and project schedules with branch operations.
• Document client interactions, leads, and opportunities in CRM.
• Represent Penhall at industry events and project kickoffs.
• Promote safety and professionalism at every interaction.
• Other duties as assigned by manager
