LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time substitute teacher who will deliver LifeWise curriculum in classrooms, following provided lesson plans and policies. The role emphasizes strong communication, church involvement, and a caring classroom environment.

Ideal candidates actively participate in a local church and uphold LifeWise beliefs. Training will be completed, and teaching opportunities offered on an as-needed basis in a faith-centered setting.

Qualifications

• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith (What We Believe) and active participation in a local church.
• Commitment to a church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs and standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training and teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis.
• Implement LifeWise curriculum and lesson plans provided by the teacher.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating classroom following LifeWise policies.
• Follow the program's student discipline policy and maintain attendance records.
• Communicate lesson plans with volunteers before class and coordinate with the teacher.
• Maintain classroom appearance and readiness, and be prepared for emergencies.
