LifeWise Academy is seeking substitute teachers who demonstrate excellence in Biblical knowledge and teaching abilities. The ideal candidate is an active church participant with strong communication and interpersonal skills, caring, perceptive, and proficient in teaching students.

Responsibilities include completing substitute teacher training, teaching LifeWise classes as needed, and implementing LifeWise curriculum while maintaining a safe, organized classroom and following the program's

Qualifications

• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Mature Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training.
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis.
• Implement the lesson plans using the LifeWise curriculum provided by the teacher.
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom environment following LifeWise policies and procedures.
• Follow the program's student discipline policy.
• Take attendance in each class and provide attendance records to the teacher.
• Maintain a clean, attractive and well-ordered classroom.
• Know procedures for emergency situations.
• Act as a LifeWise Academy ambassador within the community.
• Communicate lesson plans with volunteers before class and assign duties.
• Communicate with the teacher.
