Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum two years experience with substitute coordination and online absence management preferred
• Excellent human relations skills with staff and guest educators
• Ability to work with strict scheduling and deadlines

• Knowledge of recruitment tools and processes
• Analytical problem solving and root-cause analysis
• Ability to troubleshoot substitute system issues

Responsibilities

• Proactively lead the District’s guest educator program.
• Serve as the district-level contact for guest educators and campuses.
• Develop ongoing recruiting plans to onboard substitutes and maintain a pool.
• Process guest educator applications and screen applicants.
• Submit onboarding documentation for new hires.
• Coordinate with payroll and HR on compensation based on credentials.
• Monitor long-term assignments and notify principals as needed.
• Ensure ACA compliance with Benefits and Risk Management.
• Provide weekly reports on fill rates and relevant data.
• Deliver training on the automated absence management system.
