Job summary

Seguin Independent School District is seeking an administrator to manage the substitute calling system and related documentation. You will serve as the district point of contact for substitutes and ensure proper scheduling and coverage of staff absences.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with substitute software is a plus.
• 3 years administrative and customer service experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to present information to individuals and groups.
• Basic math and spreadsheet/database/word processing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and operate the automated substitute system including data entry and reporting.
• Provide training and support to system users.
• Process substitute requests and schedule substitutes to ensure coverage.
• Advertise, recruit and hire substitutes; review applications and conduct background checks.
• Maintain substitute lists, prepare reports and correspondence.
• Coordinate payroll-related information and benefits eligibility.
