Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals and snacks according to established menus and dietary guidelines.
• Ensure that all food safety and sanitation regulations are followed during food preparation and service.
• Support the regular nutrition staff in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
• Help with inventory management, including receiving, storing, and rotating food supplies as needed.
• Engage with students or clients to promote healthy eating habits and provide information about nutrition.
• Participate in training sessions and staff meetings as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the nutrition program manager or supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in nutrition, food service, or a related field is a plus.
• Previous experience in food service, nutrition, or a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
