Job summary

CCRES Educational and Behavioral Health Services seeks a Substitute Instructional Aide to fill in for absentee aides in the Great Valley School District. The role offers an hourly rate of $21.00 and requires providing instructional support to students and collaboration with staff, under teacher guidance.

Responsibilities include supervising students, assisting with technology, collecting data, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Prior public-school experience and/or working with school-aged children in a licensed, certified, or registered provider setting - preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional assistance and support to students and professional staff.
• Assist students in organizational skills as directed by teacher.
• Guide students in activities which are designed and assigned by the teacher.
• Supervise and assist students with all forms of technology.
• Reinforce student education plans when necessary (504, IEP, GIEP, etc.).
• Report and/or collect data for educational or behavioral reasons.
• Provide clerical support as needed.
• Supervise students as needed during all school functions.
• Process and maintain confidential student records and information.
• Assist with student testing and supervision of testing environments.
• Schedule or organize meets as directed by teacher or supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned by classroom teacher or supervisor .
