CCRES, Educational & Behavioral Health Services invites applications for an Instructional Aide (IA) to support students with academic, behavioral, social, and personal growth in the classroom environment.   • Two-year post-secondary education (48 college credits) is preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required or preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide instructional, behavioral, and/or physical support to individual students or small groups, including on-task prompting, social skills development, and self-care assistance.
  • Support students with IEPs and 504 Plans by implementing accommodations and strategies as directed.
  • Reinforce learning concepts, classroom instruction, and skill development to help students achieve their educational goals.
  • Work one-on-one or in small groups to provide targeted academic and behavioral support.
  • Assist students in developing organizational, communication, problem-solving, and independent living skills.
  • Guide students through classroom activities, monitor participation and progress, and provide feedback to instructional staff.
  • Promote positive student behavior and help maintain a safe, supportive learning environment.
  • Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, specialists, and school administrators to support student success.
  • Supervise students during lunch, recess, arrival/dismissal, transitions, and other non-instructional school activities.
  • Foster positive relationships with students while encouraging independence, confidence, and social-emotional growth.

SUMMARY:
  • The IA hourly rate is $21.00/hour with 3 days of paid time off
  • The IA position will work on all student days following the academic calendar year
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As an Instructional Aide (IA), you will play a vital role in supporting students' academic, behavioral, social, and personal growth within the classroom and school environment. Responsibilities include:

EDUCATION / EXPRIENCE:
  • Special Education Instructional Aide (IA) - Minimum of two-years of post secondary education (48 college credits)
  • Regular/General Instructional Aide (IA) - High School Diploma or equivalency
  • Prior public-school experience and/or working with school-aged children in a licensed, certified, or registered provider setting - preferred
