Job summary

Douglas County School District seeks a Substitute - Program Leader for Frontier Valley Elementary. The role supports program directors, supervises children in various activities, and promotes community relations within the school community.

Must be 18+ with three months (455 hours) of supervising four or more non-related children or hold a Level I Early Childhood credential. Position may require after-school and school-break coverage; first aid and CPR certifications are required.

Qualifications

• High School or Equivalent required.
• Experience in supervising children is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses positive techniques to guide behavior and promote respectful interactions among children.
• Builds healthy relationships with children by engaging with them positively.
• Ensures safety of children through supervision and guidance at all times.
• Plans and implements activities to help children learn, develop skills, explore interests and feel belonging.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
