Job summary

Douglas County School District seeks a Substitute - Program Leader - BASE to assist the Director and Assistant Director in supervising children across programs and activities at Mountain View Primary.

The role requires safety-conscious supervision, positive discipline, and engagement with children to foster learning and belonging within the community. Must be 18+, with 3 months of child-care experience or an EC credential, and current First Aid/CPR; OSHA training is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Three months (455 hours) of verified experience in care and supervision of children 4+ years old (not related).
• First Aid & CPR Certification and OSHA training are required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises children in programs and unstructured activities.
• Uses positive techniques to support behavior and promote respectful interactions.
• Ensures safety with proper supervision at all times.
• Engages with children to promote learning, belonging, and community contribution.
