Job summary

FirstEnergy Corp. is seeking a Construction Site Coordinator to lead pre-, during-, and post-construction activities for transmission and distribution projects in Maryland and surrounding areas.

You will work with the project team to review scopes and manage site operations across multiple territories. The role emphasizes safety culture, contractor coordination, and building a high-performing team, with responsibilities spanning from bid reviews to post-construction lessons learned.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Construction Management or related field with 8 years of experience in commercial or industrial construction.
• In lieu of degree, 12 years of experience in commercial or industrial construction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pre-construction, construction, and post-construction activities for substations and lines.
• Review conceptual scope with project team and project manager; conduct site visits.
• Develop contractor bid packages and review received bids; participate in pre-bid meetings.
• Ensure safety and quality standards; inspect contractor work against specs.
• Mentor junior CSCs and manage time, cost, and risk across projects.
• Maintain records, permits, and project communications; support outage strategies.
