Job summary

TRC Companies, Inc. is hiring a self-motivated Structural Engineer to support substation projects. You will perform calculations and design on a multi-disciplinary team for utility and renewable sectors, coordinating with designers to produce construction drawings.

The role requires a PE license, 5+ years of civil experience, and strong communication skills. On-site work with potential travel and a competitive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 5+ years of civil engineering experience in relevant fields (solar/wind/land development).
• Strong interpersonal skills and client-facing abilities.
• Experience in site development, grading, stormwater design, erosion control.
• Proficiency in Civil/Structural design tools (AutoCAD/ Civil 3D, MicroStation).

Responsibilities

• Perform structural engineering for execution of calculations and design on multi-discipline teams for utility, renewable, and oil & gas projects.
• Coordinate with structural designers to develop construction drawings.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
