Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or related work experience.
• 2-Year Technical Degree in electronics/instrumentation preferred.
• 5+ years' experience in electric utility industry.
• 5–10 years' experience in electrical substation maintenance or construction preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a TWIC Card and a CDL license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and perform installation and maintenance of substation protective systems and SCADA.
• Oversee emergency restoration of relay and substation equipment.
• Provide field training to relay crews on protective devices and schemes.
• Assist crews in relay and SCADA testing and commissioning.
• Serve as professional contact for contractors and customers.
• Ensure safety and compliance with procedures; support department goals.
