Job summary

EDG Inc. in Little Rock, AR is seeking a Sr. Relay and Protection Field Supervisor to oversee on-site activities for substations and transmission projects, from construction through commissioning.

The role requires 10+ years in Electric Utility Transmission & Distribution, a high school diploma, and strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety standards, and contractor coordination. This position is on-site with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or the equivalent is required.
• Ten (10) + years of experience in Electric Utility Transmission & Distribution.
• Must be knowledgeable of OSHA regulations and provide guidance on their application.

Responsibilities

• Participate on project teams to develop scope, cost estimates, and schedules.
• On-site field visits and coordination with contractors and crews.
• Ensure Relay Protection, SCADA (RTU) and Communications systems are installed and commissioned safely and efficiently.
• Develop detailed construction plans, outages, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate environmental and safety activities, permits, and compliance.
