• Must be certified and able to perform substation switching.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and perform all aspects of installation and maintenance of substation equipment; supervise emergency restoration activities.
• Provide field training to maintenance crews on substation apparatus.
• Assist crews in performing equipment testing (Doble power factor, Doble breaker speed analyzer, Alber battery test set, Kelman Profiler).
• Provide a professional point of contact for contractors and internal/external customers and design groups.
• Ensure compliance with configuration management and maintenance procedures; support departmental goals.
• Maintain a safe work environment and enforce safe work behaviors across crews.
