Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical theory and reading relay drawings or schematics.
• Experience with testing devices and basic electrical maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Read relay control drawings and schematics.
• Use ohmmeters, voltmeters, megger and checkers to test continuity, resistance, voltage, opens/shorts.
• Troubleshoot and assist crew in identifying equipment failures.
• Assist in installing electrical equipment per company specs.
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical equipment.
• Maintain strong written and spoken communication with team.
• Apply critical thinking and active learning to problems.
• Speak effectively with coworkers, management and external personnel.
• Work with Excel, Word and Windows programs as needed.
