Zusammenfassung

Mesa Brand seeks a mid-level Substation Protection & Controls (P&C) Engineer to advance within our Power Delivery Substation group. The role supports clients nationwide from locations within commuting distance of Knoxville or Chattanooga, TN.

You will design and mark up protection schemes using AutoCAD and Bluebeam Revu, with a focus on reliability and code compliance. You’ll work with engineers and drafters, review diagrams and calculations, and travel for site visits as needed while

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of transmission substation P&C design experience for 12kV–230kV systems.
• Located within commuting distance of Knoxville, TN or Chattanooga, TN.
• FE certification required.
• Willingness to pursue Professional Engineering licensure.

Aufgaben

• Work with a team of drafters, designers, and engineers.
• Create and review single-line/three-line diagrams, panel layouts, AC/DC schematics, wiring diagrams, and BoMs for medium- to large-scale projects.
• Examine drawings and calculations to locate inconsistencies and propose corrective actions with documentation.
• Travel to client sites for periodic site visits (1–2 nights per month).
• Ensure deliverables meet code, client requirements, and Mesa QA procedures.
