Job summary

Mesa Brand is seeking a P&C Engineering Associate II to join our electrical design team in Knoxville, TN. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of design experience and can read, understand, and produce Protection & Control drawings such as single line, AC/DC schematics, and layout diagrams.

Proficiency with AutoCAD or MicroStation, and strong Excel/Word skills are required. HV/MV substation experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of design experience in Protection & Control (P&C) engineering.
• Ability to read, understand and produce P&C drawings (Single Line, AC/DC Schematics, Elementary and Connection diagrams, Layout/Elevation drawings, Bills of Material).
• Proficient with Excel and Word; experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation for design drawings.

Responsibilities

• Produce P&C design drawings and connection diagrams based on AC/DC schematics.
• Prepare Single Line, elementary and layout drawings and Bills of Material.
• Self-check work prior to submission to the checker and collaborate with the team.
• Utilize Excel/Word to document and manage project data.
