Job summary

Pike Engineering, a division of Pike Corporation, seeks a Substation Protection and Control Engineer to deliver safe, cost-effective engineering and design services. You will provide technical direction on complex problems for substation, battery energy storage, and solar collector substations, while collaborating with other design disciplines.

Ideal candidates have ABET/EAC accredited engineering degrees, 0–2 years of experience for entry level roles, and strong written and verbal communication

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program or equivalent evaluation.
0–2 years’ engineering experience for entry level.
Solid understanding of engineering principles and design processes.

Responsibilities

Provide protection and control design, engineering, and technical oversight for substation projects.
Design protection schemes for substation and transmission equipment.
Interpret specifications and implement them on engineering drawings.
Collaborate with multi-discipline design teams and site-based staff.
Visit sites to advise on P&C issues and modify designs during construction.
