Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Willingness to accept new challenges and learn specialized field.
• Growing knowledge of the profession via professional organizations and development programs.
• Basic knowledge of the firm’s policies, practices and procedures.
• Basic knowledge of software required for position.
• Good organizational skills.
• Able to follow general directions and work with limited independence on basic computations.

Responsibilities

• Develop project drawings: one-lines, three-lines, AC/DC schematics, relay panel elevation and BOM, control enclosure layout and BOM, equipment and relay wiring diagrams, communication schematics and connection details.
• Develop studies and calculations: station service AC load calculations, transformer sizing, battery/DC load sizing, CT saturation studies, voltage drop and cable sizing.
• Assist with development of major equipment specifications: review P&C deliverables, review vendor submittals for conformance, cross-discipline checks, attend project meetings, assist with procurement and construction support tasks.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
