Job summary

Eversource Energy in Massachusetts seeks a Substation Supervisor to lead construction, maintenance, and repair of T&D substation equipment. You will analyze maintenance data and supervise crews, driving safety and customer-focused service.

The role requires five+ years of related experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and travel between MA/CT/NH; on-call duties and shift work are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent related experience is required.
• Five (5) or more years of related experience is required.
• Experience in the operation and maintenance of substation facilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises crews in construction and maintenance activities for T&D substations.
• Coordinates maintenance and construction of assigned assets with staffing, materials and equipment across sections and contractors.
• Responsible for the reliability and condition of substation assets.
• Analyzes maintenance data and inputs into company database.
• Sets expectations and provides feedback; conducts performance reviews per bargaining unit contract.
• Directs safety awareness and compliance initiatives within the group.
• Demonstrates a customer-first attitude and resolves issues by collaborating with teams.
• Off-hour on-call responsibility is required on a rotational basis.
• Subject to shift work including weekends.
