Job summary

Eversource Energy in Massachusetts seeks a Substation Supervisor to lead construction, maintenance, and repair of substation equipment across Metrowest South (Framingham and Dedham). You will analyze maintenance data, ensure safety, and drive a customer-first culture while coordinating with multiple teams.

This role requires five+ years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong communication and analytical skills. Travel between MA/CT/NH and on-call duties are involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent related experience required.
• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required of all roles.

Responsibilities

• Supervises crews in construction and maintenance activities for T&D substations.
• Coordinates maintenance and construction of assigned assets by staffing, materials and equipment with other sections.
• Responsible for the reliability and condition of substation assets.
• Analyzes maintenance data and inputs into the company database.
• Sets expectations and provides ongoing feedback; conducts performance reviews per bargaining unit contracts.
• Directs safety awareness and compliance initiatives; monitors safety performance and safety results.
• Maintains a customer-first attitude and collaborates with employees and other departments to resolve issues.
• Off-hour on-call responsibility on a rotational basis; subject to shift work including weekends.
