Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking a Senior Supervisor to lead the construction, maintenance, and repair of substation equipment in a safety-first environment. You will analyze data to establish maintenance requirements and motivate teams to deliver excellent customer experience.

You will act as the local technical lead, coach other supervisors, reallocate resources as needed, and represent management at meetings with customers and communities. Expect travel across CT/MA/NH as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent related experience is required.
• Senior Supervisor: 8–10 years of related experience.
• Previous supervisory experience required; substation operation/maintenance preferred.
• CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the local technical lead or coach for other supervisors.
• Develops and coaches other supervisors in managing crew performance, briefings and work-site visits.
• Authorizes resource re-allocation when priorities conflict.
• Drives innovation and changes in business processes.
• Leads center activities in manager's absence.
• Represents manager at department, customer, and community meetings.
• Supervises crews in construction and maintenance of T&D substations.
• Coordinates staffing, materials and equipment with other sections.
