Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a Sr Manager, Substation Maintenance to lead maintenance, reliability, and compliance programs for substations across the generation fleet, including wind, solar, storage, and gas facilities. You will build and lead a high-performing team of technicians and engineers, ensuring safe operation of high-voltage equipment and driving maintenance strategy and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 9 years in substation maintenance/high-voltage electrical systems.
• Minimum 3 years of direct people-management experience.
• Experience with NERC/FERC compliance and OSHA electrical safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and reliability programs for substations across the fleet.
• Develop and manage a team of Substation Maintenance technicians and engineers.
• Own maintenance planning, preventive, predictive, and predictive maintenance programs.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain audit-ready documentation.
• Develop maintenance budgets and monitor contractor spend.
