Job summary

Energy Erectors, Inc. (EEI) is seeking a Substation Leadman to supervise day-to-day substation construction activities and guide the project crew under the Foreman. The role covers direct leadership from Groundman to Journeyman levels and requires travel around the Central US.

The ideal candidate has prior experience leading substations, a strong safety record, and the ability to coordinate with multiple teams to meet project quality standards. OSHA 30 is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience leading a crew building substations.
• Willingness to travel around Central US.
• Ability to supervise field crews and ensure safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all construction activities.
• Direct, coach and guide staff assigned to the project.
• Ensure materials and workmanship meet quality standards and design requirements.
• Review plan details and resolve issues before they impact budget.
• Advise Foreman of potential problems and assist in resolving conflicts.
• Enforce site plans and safety requirements; support EEI’s Safety First Culture.
• Maintain the project’s daily job diary.
• Operate basic computer programs as needed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Management.
