Job summary

Electric Power Systems (EPS) is seeking a Field Technician II to perform testing, inspection, and maintenance of substation electrical equipment across diverse client sites in North America. You will work with minimal supervision, troubleshoot issues, and uphold strict safety and quality standards.

Qualified candidates have a degree in Electrical/Electronic technology (or military experience), 2–4 years in the field, and NETA II certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Electrical/Electronic technology or military experience preferred.
• 2–4 years relevant industry experience.
• NETA II Certification or equivalent required.
• Ability to climb ladders and lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing, inspection, and maintenance of substation equipment with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoot using schematics and manuals; escalate complex issues.
• Document testing and maintenance activities accurately.
• Work with engineers and senior technicians to complete field tasks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain tools and work areas in compliance with standards.
• Adhere to safety procedures and PPE requirements on site.
