Electric Power Systems is seeking a Field Technician II to perform testing, inspection, and maintenance of substation equipment with increasing independence. You will troubleshoot and document activities while prioritizing safety and quality in every task.

The role requires overtime and travel, a valid driver's license, and relocation to Boise, ID. Experience with high, medium, and low voltage equipment is preferred and a NETA II certification is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Background check required.
• Willingness to travel and overtime as needed.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Relocation to Boise, ID required.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing, inspection, and maintenance of substation equipment with supervision.
• Follow safety policies and use PPE properly.
• Document tests, maintenance, and repairs accurately.
• Assist engineers and senior technicians in field activities.
• Maintain tools and work areas in a ready state.
