Job summary

Powerserve Technologies is seeking a Substation Estimator – Power Delivery to prepare accurate, competitive cost estimates for EPC electrical utility projects, including substations (AIS/GIS), transmission lines, and BESS facilities.

The role covers greenfield and brownfield work, live substation scenarios, and some industrial construction estimates, with collaboration across engineering, construction, procurement, and project management teams.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating Substations (Above Grade and Below Grade) including greenfield/brownfield.
• Ability to prepare conceptual, budgetary, and detailed estimates for power delivery projects.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates for substations, transmission lines, and BESS facilities.
• Develop labor, equipment, material, and subcontract cost estimates.
• Analyze means and methods, sequencing, and productivity assumptions.
• Support bid strategy, reviews, and risk assessment.
