AECOM is seeking a Substation Engineering Manager to lead and grow a team delivering critical power infrastructure projects across North and South America. This role offers the chance to shape the electric grid, mentor engineers, and manage client relationships within a global energy practice.

Qualifications

• BS/BA with ≥12 years related experience and ≥4 years in leadership or practice-building roles.
• PE license is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of substation engineers.
• Building strong relationships with utility, renewable energy, and industrial clients.
• Supporting the successful delivery of substation projects from planning and design through construction support.
• Providing technical oversight and QA/QC.
• Partnering with regional leadership to grow the business and identify new opportunities.
• Helping drive technical excellence, quality, safety, and innovation across projects.
• Leading recruitment, career development, and team engagement initiatives.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across AECOM's Energy practice.
