Job summary

HDR is seeking a Substation Engineering Manager in Missouri to lead teams delivering high voltage substation projects up to 500 kV. You will work closely with the PM to guarantee technical excellence, client satisfaction, and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of technical design experience in the Power Market Sector, PE license, and proficiency with PLS CAD, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, AutoPipe, and Revit. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Power Market Sector and substation design.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required or recognized by the licensing board.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical execution of substation projects up to 500 kV.
• Develop project execution plans for technical scope.
• Mentor project engineers and designers; coordinate with PM on schedule and budget.
• Support proposal development and risk assessment; manage multiple projects.
