Job summary

HDR is seeking a Substation Engineering Manager/Team Lead to join our Power Delivery team. You will lead the technical execution, mentor engineers, and collaborate with project managers to meet scope, schedule, and budget while upholding HDR’s quality standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, a PE license, and 10+ years in high-voltage substation design; travel may be involved and expertise in industry standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Ten years of experience preferred for senior roles.
• PE license may be required based on role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a partnership with a Project Manager for scope, schedule, budget, and client management.
• Lead the technical team and execution of project deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance and supervise engineers/designers.
• Develop project execution plans for technical aspects of projects.
• Perform quality checks per HDR QMS and deliver a world-class product.
