Job summary

United Grid Solutions seeks a senior Substation Engineering Supervisor to lead a multi-disciplinary design team on power delivery projects. You will manage project scope, schedule, and technical quality while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role combines direct billable project work with administrative leadership, mentoring staff, and driving revenue and profitability targets for the engineering group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering; 7+ years in engineering practice.
• ABET-accredited engineering degree from an ABET-approved program.
• 5-7 years' experience in substation engineering.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory and engineering/technical leadership to the design team.
• Perform project management activities on client projects with Responsible Charge Engineering duties.
• Ensure cost and utilization goals are met through planning and scheduling.
• Maintain engineering standards and use current codes and best practices.
