Job summary

AES Ohio Substation Engineering is offering a Spring 2027 engineering co-op. The intern will work with staff engineers to design parts of 12kV through 345kV substations and help prepare diagrams and wiring layouts.

Qualifications

• Student pursuing a four-year degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
• Sophomore or higher academic standing preferred.
• Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist design work on 12kV–345kV substation projects.
• Prepare detailed design packages per IEEE/NERC standards.
• Complete assignments as directed by supervisor.
