Job summary

Eversource, based in Manchester, NH, seeks an Associate Engineer to support electric substation construction for Transmission and Distribution. You will organize projects, lead a multidisciplinary team, and ensure on-time completion.

Responsibilities include developing scopes, cost estimates, budgets, and technical documentation; coordinating with planning, operations, and permitting; and advancing equipment specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required.
• 0–3 years of substation engineering or related utility experience.
• Familiarity with transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear and related equipment desired.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scopes, designs, details, material orders and cost estimates.
• Coordinate and hire contract engineering firms; monitor progress and invoices.
• Collaborate with Design/Drafting to prepare and issue engineering drawings.
• Support planning, regulatory submittals, scheduling and project closeout.
• Build SME knowledge for equipment categories and update specifications.
