WSP USA is seeking a full-time Electrical Engineering (Substation) Intern to join our Syracuse, NY office for a 12-week summer program. You will work alongside senior staff and mentors to gain hands-on experience in electrical engineering tasks and project support.

The internship runs May 17, 2027, with an anticipated August 2027 graduation for students, and is designed to develop technical, professional, and ethical skills in a real-world setting at WSP.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Electrical Engineering undergraduate program with Aug 2027+ graduation.
• Must be 18 or older.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to follow directions from mentors and leaders.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsabilités

• Develop technical, social, and ethical skills as you work on real projects.
• Learn basic principles of Electrical Engineering.
• Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations.
• Assist in preparing final design plans, provisions, and cost estimates.
• Maintain and organize project documentation.
